Rectangular with cut corners, gilt-metal mount
8.5cm., 3¼in. wide
The degree of urban development suggest that this panoramic view of Genoa dates from the mid 18th century. While many of the buildings are indicative rather than representative, the celebrated lighthouse and the Villa del Principe in the curve of the bay are easily discerned.
