The complete portfolio, comprising eight lithographs printed in colors and a bronze multiple, 1973, each print signed in pencil and inscribed 'HC 7/25', an hors commerce set aside from the numbered edition of 100 and a deluxe edition of 25 in Roman numerals, the bronze inscribed with the artist's signature, dated and inscribed 'AP', on German Etching paper, each with the blindstamp of the publisher, Editions Press, San Francisco, with title page, table of contents and justification page, contained in the original portfolio (8 prints)

The portfolio is in good condition overall. Most prints with an occasional crease in the margins or deckle and the versos with a few fox marks and some minor adhesive stains with associated skinned spots from prior hinging. (The adhesive stain and skinning has been covered with Japan paper on the versos of 'The Poet in the Dining Room' and 'Reclining Woman'.) A few with an occasional scuff or small spot of discoloration in the margins. The bronze is in good condition apart from a few isolated spots of rubbing on the proper right side of the work and a few spots of oxidization scattered throughout. The title page, justification page and table of contents with some minor creasing and pale discoloration at sheet edges. The portfolio case with some minor wear along the spine and an occasional scuff.
