(Circa 1488 - 1576)
THE CONVERSION OF SAINT PAUL (ROSAND & MURARO 16)
Woodcut printed from four blocks, circa 1515-20, a good though slightly later impression of this rare print, printing unevenly in places and with wormholes in the block, on four joined sheets of paper, unframed

With narrow margins, in generally good condition, unobtrusive thinned areas and short tears throughout, most are skillfully repaired, some are touched in with printer's ink, the sheet edges and joints between the four sheets are supported by paper fibers, several rust marks and pale reddish stains verso, a few of which show faintly through recto, unframed.
