CENTRAL PARK, NEW YORK CITY
mounted, signed in ink and with the photographer's '44 South Mountain Road, New City, N. Y. 10956' credit/studio and copyright stamps on the reverse, 1965 (Self Portrait, pl. 21)
5 by 7⅜ in. (12.7 by 18.7 cm.)
This early print is generally very good condition. There are a few matte deposits of indeterminate nature, possibly foxing, mainly in the area of the photographer's shadow. There are adhesive remnants along the lower edge of the image, possibly from a previous overmat. Very faint age-appropriate silvering is visible overall in raking light.
The following are visible on the front and the reverse of the mount: soiling; scattered rust-colored deposits of indeterminate nature; a tack-hole at the upper right corner; and adhesive remnants along the edges. There are 2 hinge-remnants along the upper edge on the reverse.
