'BETTA SPLENDENS, NEW YORK CITY'
large-format dye-transfer print, flush-mounted to linen, signed and editioned '4/20' in pencil and with fingerprint in ink, title, dated, and numerical stamps on the reverse, 1983 (cf. HIRO, unpaginated)
27 by 38 in. (68.6 by 96.5 cm.)
This dye-transfer print, with rich, saturated colors, is in generally excellent condition. The print is flush-mounted to linen and there is gentle rippling to the sheet overall. When examined in raking light, a sharp crease which does not appear to break the emulsion is visible in the lower left quadrant.
The reverse is faintly yellowed in a thin band along the lower edge.
