UNTITLED (PHOTOGRAPHS PINNED TO A WALL)
signed in ink, numerical notations in pencil and ink, and labels with annotations in ink on the reverse, framed, 1950s, probably printed in the 1970s
13⅝ by 10 in. (34.6 by 25.4 in.)
This photograph, on double-weight Agfa paper with a surface sheen and gentle waviness, is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, the following are visible: scattered pinpoint-sized impressions in the upper right quadrant; and a long scratch at the upper left edge that may break the emulsion slightly.
The following are visible in the margins: several small scratches, some of which extend slightly into the image; and tiny deposits of indeterminate nature. There is minor edge wear and the margin corners are bumped.
The reverse is faintly age-darkened. On the reverse of the print there is a small label with 'NYU LAW #13 P/K A-78 (II)' in ink. There is a small bright yellow circular sticker with 'P/K A 78 (II)' in ink. The following is also in pencil or ink on the reverse: 'NYUAC # 1993.6.13'; '866' (circled); and '820-890.'
