chromogenic print, mounted, signed, titled, dated, editioned '2/8,' and copyrighted in pencil on the reverse, framed, 2004, printed in 2005
29¾ by 29¾ in. (75.6 by 75.6 cm.)
This glossy chromogenic print is in generally very good condition. The colors are saturated and bright with no apparent fading.
The following are visible upon close examination in raking light: two creases (measuring one-inch and 2-inches) which do not appear to break the emulsion and were likely a result of the mounting process; tiny hairline scratches and minor soiling in the upper right quadrant; and a fingerprint at the upper edge. The right margin edge is bumped and creased, with a tiny attendant tear that intrudes upon the image only slightly.
The reverse is very slightly soiled along the upper edge.
The color saturation in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although it has less yellow undertones in person. The sitter’s skin is a more neutral flesh tone.
