This platinum-palladium print is in generally excellent condition. There is occasional faint soiling in the the margins, not affecting the image. There is gray soiling along the upper edge of the margin adjacent to the aluminum registration strip. The upper paper-ply of the mount is gently rippled and soiled overall and there is also is a small gouge near the copyright stamp. There are a few rust-colored deposits along the edges.
On the reverse of the mount, the annotations in pencil are: 'A. S,' '1927' [encircled], 'Rives Paper on Aluminum / Multiple coating and printing / 1 Platinum-palladium / 2 Platinum-palladium / Print made March 1979.' The stamps read 'Hand-coated by the photographer' and 'Deacidified.' The edition stamp on the reverse indicates that in addition to the 31 numbered prints in platinum, there may also exist no more than 0 unnumbered, but signed, gelatin silver prints.
