a Bruce Silverstein Gallery label on the reverse, 1935
13¼ by 4⅝ in. (33.7 by 11.7 cm.)
This gelatin silver print is in generally excellent condition. There is faint silvering near the sitter's elbow and fingertips. There are clamp impressions in the upper and lower left margin corners with associated abrasions and faint staining. The upper margin appears slightly yellowed.
There are several faint areas of soiling and scuffing on the reverse. There is a small area that is abraded in the lower left corner.
None of the aforementioned condition issues affects the overall fine appearance of this print. When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
