the photographer's credit/address stamp and annotations in crayon on the reverse, framed, a Jackson Fine Art, Atlanta, label on the reverse, 1931
6¾ by 4⅞ in. (17.1 by 12.4 cm.)
This early, warm-toned photograph is in generally good condition. In raking light the following are visible overall: an uneven surface with several abrasions; silvering in the darkest areas of the image; and a small impression that does not appear to break the emulsion in the upper portion of the image.
The reverse is slightly age-darkened along the edges. '539' in blue crayon and 'zwart 14' are written in pencil in an unidentified hand. The stamp reads as follows: 'piet zwart / rijkstraatweg 290 / wassermaat holland.'
