annotated '296 D' by unknown hand on verso
4 ½ x 3 ¼ in.; 11.6 x 8.3 cm
This gelatin silver print with small margin and a double whight semi-glossy paper is in generally very good condition. 3 Pinpoint-sized losses are visible under Witkiewiczleft eye. There is a rust-colored deposit and undeterminate nature along the left edge of the image. A soft crease is visible under raking light in the lower right quadrant. That does not appear to break the emulsion. There is a crease at the lower margin left corner that slighty extended to the image and that appears to break the emulsion. The margin corners are slighty bumped. '296 D' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse.
