This Salmanazar (9 litre bottle) is adorned with a unique label, conceived by Shirin Neshat exclusively for the project, which is a photographic print of the original by the artist. The unique bottle is signed by the artist. For tasting note, please click here.
This lot also includes an overnight visit to the Ornellaia Estate for 6 guests including a visit to the vineyards and winery, and an exclusive private dinner in the Ornellaia Archivio Storico with the Estate Director Axel Heinz.
The overnight visit will take place at a date of the winning bidder’s choice between June 1st and July 31st 2020. Accommodation in ensuite double rooms will be provided for all guests. Guests will enjoy a light lunch on both days as well as breakfast on the second day, provided by the Estate.
The dinner will include vintages 2013 and 2005 of Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia, Ornellaia Bianco 2015, the current release of the flagship wine of the Estate, Ornellaia 2016 'La Tensione', and two vintages of Ornellaia Archivio Storico, 2004 and 1999. To make this dinner unique, Estate Director Axel Heinz has also selected Ornellaia 1990 from the private reserve of the Estate.
Flights and transport to and from the Estate are not included.
