Description

THE MAKING OF BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID (1970) POSTER, US

Unframed: 183 x 46 cm (72 x 18 in.)

This documentary, which came out a year after the film's release, is about the making of the classic western Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford. The documentary was narrated by the film's director George Roy Hill. This very cool life-size image of The Sundance Kid (Robert Redford) was all that was needed to promote this documentary film. This poster was produced for this relatively small documentary, and therefore not many posters were printed.
