This film was directed and co-written by Mario Bava, and is based on the Italian comic series Diabolik by Angela and Luciana Giussani. International criminal and man of mystery Diabolik (John Phillip Law) and his sexy girlfriend Eva Kant (Marisa Mell) plan and execute numerous robberies, all under the watchful eyes of the European police, led by Inspector Ginko (Michel Piccoli), and jealous gangsters led by Ralph Valmont (Adolfo Celi).
