Description

GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES (1953) POSTER, US

Unframed: 152 x 102 cm (60 x 40 in.)

Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe star in this musical comedy, which was based on the 1949 stage production of the same name. It was directed by Howard Hawks, and is crammed full of funny gags and musical numbers. The music was written by Hoagy Carmichael, Harold Adamson, Jule Styne and Leo Robin. This is the best looking of all the posters designed for English speaking countries. Exceptionally rare, and has surfaced only a few times.
