This short, twenty-six minute, silent film, with its memorable song 'Walking in the Air' sung by Aled Jones, was based on the famous book by Raymond Briggs. It tells the story of a young boy who builds a snowman one Christmas Eve. The snowman comes to life and takes the boy on a magical adventure to the North Pole where he meets Santa Claus. This story has become a Christmas classic. Original storyboard artwork very seldomly surfaces.
