Paul Wenzel worked for Walt Disney for forty-two years as a designer/illustrator for the Motion Picture Advertising Department, and worked on many classic Disney films, including Mary Poppins. Wenzel painted Walt Disney's portrait that was used on the 6 cent stamp to commemorate the life of Disney. During his great career with Disney he because Creative Director of Character Art supervising over twenty-five artists. Later in his career Wenzel took on commissions for work from other studios.
