Catalogue Note

This film was Franc Roddam's feature film directional debut. It is set in 1964 and follows Jimmy (Phil Daniels), a Mod from London, who breaks free from his boring life and annoying parents to join his friends and fellow Mods as they ride their scooters, party and get caught up in a huge fight. All is not perfect as he discovers. An interesting look at the youth culture of the time. The cast also includes Leslie Ash, Toyah, Philip Davis, Mark Wingett, Sting and Ray Winstone.
