Catalogue Note

This animation is the 71st one reel Tom and Jerry short. It was directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. It is set on board a cruise ship where Tom is the official cat. In this short, Tom gets the better of Jerry almost the entire film, until Jerry gets his usual comeuppance.

This seven minute cartoon would have been shown before the main feature of the day, and posters for these one reel cartoons do not surface very often.
