The case is in good overall condition, and in our view, has likely seen one very minor polishing near the bottom lugs and upper left lug. The lugs retain strong proportions and sharp beveled edges. The caseback retains the original Omega Speedmaster logo with the Seahorse engraving. The bracelet is in very good condition with some minor stretch and surface scratching visible throughout.
The dial is in good overall condition. Some wear to the edge of the outer step. The hour markers have aged to an attractive shade of caramel. The Tiffany & Co. signature remains intact and highly legible.
The chronograph function is operating properly, and dustcap is still present. The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.

A double signed Speedmaster with Omega and a retailer is a rare feature in its own right, however doubly so for the present lot as it is signed by the legendary American retailer, Tiffany & Co.
Three different styles of font for the Tiffany signature have been identified, with the present version being the earliest recognized. Additionally, the present lot, with confirmed original delivery to the United States, features hand scratched Tiffany & Co. inventory numbers to the back of the top left lug. The dial itself has aged with a very dark attractive matte finish and dark patina to the tritium markers and hands.
