Accessories: Accompanied by an Omega presentation box and an Extract from the Archives confirming date of manufacture on May 17, 1965 and subsequent delivery to Switzerland.
The reference 105.012 was made from 1963 to 1966, and it was the first Speedmaster to be dubbed ‘Professional’ on the dial and feature the asymmetric case.
The present lot is from the second series of this reference, and was the first dial to designate the Tritium luminous material in the Swiss signature with T SWISS MADE T at the 6 o’clock.
This addition was introduced in April 1964, following new Swiss legislation required dials to mention the use of radioactive luminescent material.
