Condition Report

The canvas has been laid down on board. The paint surface is relatively clean and the varnish only slightly discoloured. There are no major damages visible to the naked eye. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals very few, minor retouchings in the sky and spots of strengthening in the body of the ship, centre. In overall good condition. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame with some losses to the gilding.
