Property from the SØR Rusche Collection is available to view at Sotheby’s, New Bond Street, 13 – 18 September (weekdays 9am – 4.30pm; weekend 12-5pm).

The panel is uncradled, flat and stable. The paint surface is clean and the varnish is slightly discolored. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered pinprick retouches throughout, which in no way hinder the legibility of the image. The painting is in overall good condition without the need of further intervention.
