The panel is cradled, flat and stable. The paint surface is slightly dirty and the varnish is slightly discoloured. Inspection under UV light reveals very little intervention overall. There appear to be some small retouchings along the upper margin as well as some tiny areas in Christ's hair, around his mouth, and around both of his hands. There also appears to be some small retouchings scattered in the Virgin's blue robe, in her feet, in the right hand side of Joseph's face, and in his red cloak. In seemingly overall good condition.
