Condition Report

Property from Various Owners is available to view at the Sotheby’s Greenford Park warehouse, 13 and 16 – 18 September (10 - 4pm), by appointment.


The canvas is lined and the paint surface has a clear and even varnish. There are no major damages visible to the naked eye. Inspection under UV light reveals some retouchings in the background around the edge of the helmet and around the profile of the classical head, and some other scattered minor retouches and repairs. In good overall condition.

Offered in a painted black (over old gold) wood frame with gold sight edge, in good condition.
