CUPID MUSING; CUPID WITH A VASE

a pair, each oil on canvas

Condition Report

Both canvases are lined. Craquelure is visible throughout. Minor accretion in the surfaces.

The former: Inspection under UV reveals very few and scattered pindots of retouching to the sky. Some minor visible discoloring is in the shoulder of cupid. A few retouches in the edges also fluoresce.

The latter: Inspection under UV reveals two spots of inpainting in the rock at left: the first is at center left; the second is at left of the bottom of the vase. Very few pindots of retouching scattered close to the edges.
