Overall the condition of the stone is good with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are some minor losses, including to the tip of the Virgin's nose, to the Virgin's veil around her head, to the drapery around her arms and to some of the high points of the drapery at the bottom of the relief. There are some larger chips to the bottom edge of the relief. There is some residue to the surface, possible a result of placement outdoors. There are minor losses to the paint in areas.
