Overall the condition of the marbles is very good with minor dirt and wear to the surfaces consistent with age. There are a few naturally occurring inclusions to the marbles in particular to Pope Innocent’s cap. There are a few minor abrasions to some of the high points including Innocent’s hair and Gregory’s cap. The marble has a warm slightly brownish patina. There are some minor chips and abrasions to the edges of the rounders.
