oil on canvas

51 by 40cm.; 20 by 15¾in.

The canvas appears original. The canvas undulates very slightly in places, most evident in the lower left corner. There are Artist pinholes at the corners with tiny associated flecks of loss to the surface. There is a tiny frame abrasion to the upper right corner, with a tiny associated fleck of loss. There are one or two possible extremely faint rubs in the lower left quadrant, only visible under close inspection. There may be very light surface dirt and accretions. This excepting, the work appears in excellent overall condition.

Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.

The work is held in a painted wooden frame.
