The sheet is attached to the mount with an adhesive. There is a small area of creasing on the verso of the mount, located in the centre of the lower edge, not visible from the front. There are a couple of small spots of staining and faint handling marks towards the edges of the verso, not visible from the front of the work. The edges of the work are cut. There is a faint mark left from a strip of adhesive tape in the upper right corner. There are a couple of small, very faint instances of creasing to the sheet towards the upper left corner. There is a very light spot of staining towards the right corner of the upper edge. There is some possible faint smudging to the medium, with a couple of faint handling marks towards the edges. There is probable light surface dirt, with a few tiny spots of surface matter, most apparent towards the upper and lower right corners.
