DUTCH SCHOOL, CIRCA 1800 | SEVERAL STUDIES OF A DOG, PROBABLY A GREYHOUND

For this rapidly executed sheet of dog studies, probably a greyhound, a sheet of paper was reused, and faint handwriting is visible to the naked eye. The paper seems to be headed with the name [Wi]llem van Os, and the numbers and text registers seem to indicate that it was once an inventory or an invoice of sorts. The script helps to further date the sheet possibly to the late 18th or early 19th century.
