Each composed of turquoise beads alternating with scroll-shaped textured gold links, lengths 42¾ and 18 inches, longer necklace signed VCA, numbered 6926 CS, shorter necklace signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 76006 CS, both with French assay marks, the longer necklace with workshop mark.
In good condition, with minor surface scratches to the gold commensurate with light wear. Both with French assay marks for 18 karat gold, the longer necklace also inscribed 750. Longer necklace with workshop mark for Pery et Cie, the necklace with possible workshop mark (very worn and not possible to identify). The turquoise beads on the sautoir measuring from approximately 16.0 to 10.5mm; the turquoise beads on the shorter necklace measuring approximately 11.8 mm; the turquoise is light blue, evenly colored and well matched, a few beads with small signs of matrix. Gross weight of longer necklace approximately 109 dwts, shorter necklace approximately 51 dwts. Clasps close securely.
