Set with 14 cushion-cut sapphires weighing a total of 56.05 carats, spaced by two rows of baguette diamonds, length 7 inches, numbered 853.


Accompanied by two SSEF reports:


No. 108892 dated August 26, 2019 stating that two sapphires are of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating and five sapphires are of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.


No. 108893 dated August 26, 2019 stating that five sapphires are of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating and two sapphires are of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.


Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 51795 dated November 12, 2012 stating that eight sapphires are of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating, four sapphires are of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating and two sapphires are not currently determinable, with no indications of heating.

Harriette Williams “Happy” Downey (1924-2004) resided in Cincinnati and had homes on Indian Creek Island, Bal Harbour, Florida and in Linville Ridge, North Carolina. Her life was defined by her joyful nature and appreciation for art and design, both of which informed her famously elegant and elaborate parties. Mrs. Downey was a founding board member of the Ohio Arts Council and was on the board of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Her first husband, James R. Williams, was an executive at The Western and Southern Life Insurance Company, which had been established by his father. James was also the former owner of North American Properties, a real estate development company, as well as the Cincinnati Reds baseball team in the 1980s.
