PEARL AND DIAMOND CHOKER-NECKLACE, CARTIER, PARIS
The six-strand choker, with pearls measuring approximately 4.5 to 3.3 mm, centered on triangular plaque set with an old European-cut diamond encircled by smaller old mine-cut diamonds, accented with floral motifs set with old mine, old European and single-cut diamonds, suspending a similarly-set detachable fringe, internal circumference 14¼ inches, signed Cartier Paris Déposé; circa 1930.

In good condition, with minor surface scratches to the mounting commensurate with age. Mounting tests as platinum. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 10.00 carats, including the center-most diamond weighing approximately 0.70 carat, range in color from approximately G-M color, many with a grayish tint, VS-I clarity, several stones with small chips or abrasions visible under magnification, commensurate with age. The off-round pearls are of creamy golden bodycolor, with rose, peach and green overtones, fair to good luster, some with wrinkles visible under close inspection. Fringe approximately 3¾ inches long measuring from base of triangular pearl motif down. Clasp closes securely. Please note that the pearls have not been tested for natural origin.
