Designed as a highly stylized Maltese cross, composed of polished gold, the center with woven platinum bands pavé-set with round and single-cut diamonds, signed Verdura; 1940.

In good overall condition, the double pin fitting in need of repair, with one pin broken off, and the other pin bent out of line. The polished gold with minor surface scratches and some minor tarnish to the reverse side. Mounting tests as 14 karat gold and platinum. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.20 carats, are approximately G-H color, VS-I clarity. Dimensions approximately 3 x 3 inches. Total gross weight approximately 36 dwts.
