Designed as a butterfly, the body set with two baroque cultured pearls and round diamonds, the wings featuring cabochon emeralds within a surround of open work gold set with round and rose-cut diamonds, with cabochon ruby eyes, signed Gianmaria Buccellati, numbered K 1403. With signed box.
In good condition. Stamped Italy 18k with inscription K1403 on the pin clasp. The two cultured baroque pearls measuring approximately 37.0 x 16.0 mm, of creamy silver color and soft rose and green overtones. Overall luster good with abrasions to luster at bottom tip. Moderate winkles and unevenness to skin typical of baroque pearls. The four cabochon emeralds measuring approximately 7.5 x 5.3 mm and weighing approximately 4.50 carats, translucent and of medium light to medium tone, moderately to heavily included, with surface reaching feathers, nicks and chips. The rose-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 3.20 carats, the round diamonds weighing approximately 2.05 carats, approximately G-H color, SI clarity. The two cabochon rubies of purplish red hue and medium tone, decorative quality. Measuring approximately 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 inches.
