Condition Report

The card is laid down on to a rectangular piece of canvas. The right and lower edges are unevenly cut. There are a number of Artist's pinholes at the upper edge. There is some slight rounding the extreme corners. There are some incredibly fine lines of craquelure in the thicker pigment in the upper right quadrant, only visible upon extremely close inspeciton. There are one or two pinhead sized flecks of loss. There are a couple of light scuffs, and there is one small scratch in the central passage towards the right hand edge. There is light surface dirt throughout and some studio matter. This excepting the work appears to be in very good overall condition.

Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.

The card is window mounted and held behind glass in a carved wooden frame.
