signed, titled, dated April 1966 and inscribed with stencils on the stretcher bars
acrylic on canvas
122.5 by 122.5cm.; 48¼ by 48¼in.
The canvas is original. There are a number of very fine lines of craquelure across the surface, however these all appear to be stable. There are possibly one or two very faint stretcher bar marks along the edges, but these are only visible in raking light. There is some very light surface dirt and dust in places. This excepting the work appears to be in good overall condition.
Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is unframed.
