Condition Report

The sheet is secured to the mount with strips of adhesive tape at each edge. The sheet undulates slightly throughout in keeping with the Artist's materials and working methods. There is at least one Artist's pin hole visible in the upper right corner. There are some very fine lines of craquelure in some places, notably in the central passage around the figure's shoulders and arms with some tiny flecks of loss. There are some possible flecks of loss elsewhere in the thicker areas of pigment. There are some accretions and instances of studio matter apparent in places. There is some light surface dirt throughout. This excepting, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.

The sheet is window mounted and held behind glass in a simple wooden frame.
