Designed as a bee on honeycomb, the bee’s head set with circular-cut black diamonds with cabochon ruby eyes, its thorax collet-set with an oval yellow sapphire, its abdomen set with circular-cut black diamonds and yellow sapphires, its wings of carved rock crystal bordered with brilliant-cut diamonds, the hinged honeycomb-patterned cuff set with faceted and buff-top hexagonal citrines, inner circumference approximately 170mm, signed Michele della Valle, numbered, Italian maker's mark.
