'BIRD IN FLIGHT' CLIP-BROOCH
(SPILLA A CLIP 'BIRD IN FLIGHT'), CARTIER, PARIS, 1962
Designed as a bird in flight, the body set at the centre with an oval-shaped emerald cabochon within circular-cut rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, the eye set with a marquise-shaped diamond and the beak with a tapered baguette diamond, signed Cartier Paris, numbered.

Signed Cartier Paris, numbered HSA 1693 and 6499. Deposse SSM. French assay marks for platinum and 18 carat gold and partial maker's mark. One ruby missing. Gross weight approximately 25 grams. In very good condition.
Accompanied by a Cartier certificate of authenticity, n. GE2001 - 549 dated 26/10/2001 stating the cabochon emerald for 22.47 carats approximately and total diamond for 4.21 carats approximately and ruby for 6.40 carats approximately.
