The top edge of the canvas is strip lined and the edges of the canvas are reinforced with tape. Paint shrinkage is present throughout, most notably in the darkest pigments and areas of thickest impasto. There is a one inch square area of pigment to the center left of the composition which is lifting and may need to be addressed in order to be stabilized. The colors are well preserved. Under UV light: Some original pigments fluoresce but no inpainting is apparent. This work is in overall good condition.
