Stamped Renoir and with the foundry mark C Valsuani Cire Perdue, inscribed c and numbered H.C.5

Height: 6¾ in. (17.1 cm)

Conceived in 1908-10.


 The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by Corinne Guino.


Condition Report

Variegated black patina. There is some dust in the deeper crevices. There is some wear to the patina to the extreme edges of the bust. There are a few areas of patina loss on the front of figure's neck. There is a half-inch wide circular area of accretion to the back of the figure's head. There is a nailhead sized area of abrasion to the proper right side of the figure's hair. The work is in good condition.
