Madame Grammont Camoin has kindly confirmed the authenticity of this work.
Executed on buff-colored wove paper which has been mounted on canvas. A triangular piece of canvas has been added to the upper right corner, possibly to address a loss to the paper. There is a 3/4 inch long tear in the paper in the bottom right corner. Around all four edges there is remnants of an adhesive. There is a very minor tear in the right edge of the paper, four inches from the bottom corner. There is a minor tear in the upper left quadrant. There is a pindot loss just below the table legs at center. Under UV light: There is a nail-head sized area of inpainting at lower center. There are some strokes of inpainting in the extreme upper right corner and another nail-head sized spot in the upper right quadrant. The work is in overall very good condition.
