Rolex created the historic Military Submariner upon special request from the British Ministry of Defense. These commissioned pieces were designed to be worn by soldiers during combat, featuring the iconic military designation 'T' below the arbor.
The double reference 5513/5517 has reference 5513 engraved between the lugs, while reference 5517 is engraved on the underside of the lug. The case back is further engraved 0552/923-7697 679/77.
This impressive wristwatch from 1974 has survived in superb condition, and remains to be among the rarest Submariners one can own.
