Michael Ginsburg is a retired American photojournalist, stills photographer, and private pilot who worked for renowned publications such as New York Magazine, Life, and Newsweek. In the 1970s he began working as a stills photographer on the sets of major motion pictures. Wearing his Rolex GMT-Master, he immortalized iconic scenes from an impressive roster of films spanning from 1976 to 2004. He worked on films like Network (1976), The Warriors (1979), Fort Apache the Bronx (1981), The Big Chill (1983), and Ghostbusters (1984)
Pictured are some off screen snapshots from one of his most memorable assignments, shooting on set the of film, Fort Apache the Bronx. Wearing the present watch, Mr Ginsburg shared some great memories with actors Ken Wahl and Ed Asner. We are pleased to present this well-used and beautifully preserved timepiece on behalf of the original owner.
