The Patek Philippe reference 5102 represents a ground breaking complication. First launched in the year 2002, the watch took the horological world by storm with its very unique dial configuration that represents the nocturnal sky of the Northern Hemisphere and illustrates the angular motion of the stars and moon as well as the progression of the phases of the moon. This Celestial wristwatch was a direct result of the research and development that went into making the magnificent Star Caliber 2000 pocket watch.
