The present lot features an El Primero cal. 3019 PHF, one of the rarest and most sophisticated automatic chronograph movements with full calendar and moon phases. Produced in the 1970s, Movado and Zenith joined forces to create the Astronic model. The brands were owned by one holding company MZM between 1969 and 1983.
To the best of our knowledge approximately 100 pieces were made with examples in yellow gold, as in the present lot, being extraordinarily rare.
