scored for soprano and orchestra, the recitative commencing in A and the aria transposed to G major, notated in brown ink by a single scribe, the recitative written on two five-stave systems per page, the aria on a single eleven-stave system per page, entitled "Scena per il Soprano con Violino Obligato composta de W. A. Mozard", the text beginning "Genug, ich bin entschlossen...Laß o Freund uns standhaft scheiden"

30 (score), 4 (vocal part) pages, oblong 4to (score: c.22 x 35cm) and 4to (vocal part: 35.4 x 22.5cm), ties, no place or date [late C18th-early C19th], first leaf of score detached

Mozart's scena and rondo for tenor with violin solo "Non più, tutto ascoltai ... Non temer, amato bene", K.490, was composed as a replacement number for the beginning of Act II of Idomeneo, as performed in March 1786 at the theatre in the Vienna palace of Prince Johann Adam Auersperg. An edition of the score only appeared after the vocal score of 1795 (Gayl & Hedler), and André's edition of the parts in the following year. The relationship, if any, of the present manuscript to these editions remains to be established.
