folio (412 x 270mm.), engraved title, 63 large engravings (each acting as a frontispiece to each section) by Jasper Isac with printed verses etc below, 2 smaller engravings in the text, historiated woodcut initials and headpieces throughout, second title at 3A4, contemporary calf, some early marginalia, title worn and repaired with slight loss to corner, a few further repairs, occasional small stains and light browning, rebacked
